Are We?
We are the NWDRS or National White Dove Release Society. The
NWDRS is an association of responsible professionals
dedicated to promoting the White Dove Release Business.
What is White Wings Over America 9/11 White Dove Release
?
We wanted to pay tribute to those who paid the ultimate
price during 9/11. Many were unsuspecting victims, while
others were our brave service organization members who
sacrificed their lives while trying to rescue others. So,
whether they were a victim of an attack, a hijacking or our
brave policemen, firemen and rescue personnel, we couldn't
think of a better way to pay tribute to all these brave
Americans than doing what we do every day, releasing white
doves. But we wanted to take it to a level of national
prominence where the American people as a whole could
participate in releases held wherever we had interested dove
releasers available. All of this done simultaneously across
the United States.
Will this have national promotion?
Yes, we are working to secure national press and television
coverage. We're hoping to have everyone from daily TV
programs to local newspapers covering this. But we need your
help. So we will provide you with information as to how to
get your release publicized on a local level.
Will I be listed on this web site?
YES! Every person who pledges doves for a local release will
have their name and location published on our White Wings
Over America web site.
How much will it cost me?
Nothing...it is absolutely FREE for the name and location
